Christopher Cutts Gallery is pleased to announce our second solo show of new works by Alexander Rasmussen.

Alexander Rasmussen’s new paintings are visually dynamic. They are informed by the spaces where he works, and his approach incorporates a variety of mediums and techniques. The paintings are big and visually arresting yet they invite your gaze to move freely across the canvas. The technique of staining a raw canvas and then drawing and painting on top of the mottled background has imbued these pictures with a wonderful sense of optical space.
