Christopher Cutts Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of our Summer Group Show. The Summer Group Show consists of work by Eldon Garnet, accompanied by Mat Brown, Matthew Carver, Dana Holst and Andrew Rucklidge.
The south gallery hosts a reconfiguration of Eldon Garnet’s previous show at Christopher Cutts Gallery, “ELDON GARNET: SHADOWS & SHADES”. These works emphasize Garnet’s vast contribution to various mediums, including his groundbreaking photo conceptualism, his bronze sculptures, and his stainless steel text pieces.
In the north gallery we are introducing new work by gallery artists: Mat Brown, Matthew Carver and Andrew Rucklidge. We are also welcoming a new artist to the gallery, Dana Holst. Holst, an Alberta based artist, uses painting to investigate the human experience. Prominent in her work are themes of social stereotyping, the power struggle between the sexes, as well as the female experience in conflict. Holst will be debuting, five beautiful works of encaustic and oil on paper.
