Harold Town: Magnificent Decade

The Magnificent Decade: Harold Town, 1955–1965, is an exhibition catalogue devoted to one of the most productive periods of the artist’s career.

Between 1955 and 1965, Town produced a highly inventive and versatile body of work, balancing spontaneity with formal control across multiple media.

The catalogue features paintings, collages, drawings, prints, four essays by Robert Fulford, Alan Jarvis, Elizabeth Kilbourn, and Harry Malcolmson, and a prelude by David Silcox.
